Ganahoma

Ganahoma, Ganapati Homam or Ganesh, is a ceremonial homa to worship Lord Ganesha, the lord of new beginnings and the one who wards off hurdles. It is performed mainly on weighty occasions such as marriage, starting work, or shifting to a new place.

Procedure:

The entire ceremony is more often than not done by a hired priest who performs different rituals like prayers specifically to Lord Ganesha by muttering certain invocations.
